Area Activities - Warrenton/Hammond
Located where the Columbia river meets the Pacific
Ocean, these small, adjacent communities have been forgotten by
the tourism boom on the coast. Home to many commercial fishermen
and crabbers, these are rural working-class towns with all manner
of boats in people’s
yards, taverns where salty locals hangout and a rich history of
explorers, seafaring men and their families. This area is about
32 miles
north of Inn at Arch Cape.
