Irish Table — This dinner-only spot in midtown Cannon Beach operates in the same space at the Sleepy Monk Coffee Shop, transitioning over for dinner in the evenings. There’s a delightful pork chop and a wonderful shepherd’s pie on the menu, but the Irish Table’s seared flat-iron steak is excellent.

Driftwood — Don’t let the oysters, clams, prawns and salmon fool you: Driftwood in downtown Cannon Beach has tasty steaks on the menu, too. Choose from a 10-oz filet, 14-oz New York strip or 12-oz rib-eye, any of which will satisfy your hankering for a hearty steak dinner.

Wayfarer — At this midtown Cannon Beach seafood and chophouse, the short-rib poutine and the crab cakes are superb starters, but when it’s time for the entree, go for the grilled filet, 12-oz NY steak or, if you’re up for it, the massive 34-oz “Tomahawk,” a beautiful bone-in ribeye.

Harding Trading — There are some absolutely alluring dishes on the menu, including the Steak au Poivre, an Angus strip-loin with a brandy cream sauce. Harding Trading is at the north end of downtown Cannon Beach just past Public Coast Brewery and Castaways.

Castaways — Among our favorites restaurants in downtown Cannon Beach, Castaways has a mouthwatering 80-oz filet that’s topped with either a bleu cheese sauce or red wine-shallot-demi sauce that’s exceptional.

The Bistro — Start off with the honey-braised pork belly, then go big with the NY steak and baked potato.
