The Inn at Arch Cape and the Arch Cape Inn: Not the Same Place

The Inn at Arch Cape is a six-room boutique inn with a long history on the Oregon Coast.

We’re asked a lot — almost daily — if The Inn at Arch Cape is the same as the Arch Cape Inn. The answer is no. They’re two different properties on different sides of Highway 101 and owned by different people.

Let’s try to clear up the confusion:

The Inn at Arch Cape is a six-room boutique inn that’s been part of the Arch Cape community for 80 years, operating as The Inn at Arch Cape since 1960. Owned by Chris and Heather Anderson, The Inn at Arch Cape sits on the west (ocean) side of Ocean Lane off of Highway 101.

The confusion began when a B&B known as “St. Bernard’s Inn” and later “Arch Cape House B&B” changed its name to the Arch Cape Inn in 2009. It sits on the east side of Ocean Lane on the other side of Highway 101.

If you’re still not clear on the difference between The Inn at Arch Cape and the Arch Cape Inn, please feel free to call Chris or Heather here at The Inn at Arch Cape: (503) 436-2082. Thank you!

The Inn at Arch Cape was once the town’s post office and general store.
