— Ecola State Park — Located at the north end of Cannon Beach, Ecola offers several good hikes with coastal views, including Ecola Point to Crescent Beach, the Tillamook Head Trail, the Clatsop Loop Trail, Clark’s Mountain Loop (Lews & Clark Discovery Trail), and Ecola Point down to Indian Beach.

— Ecola Creek Forest — The lesser-known Ecola Creek Forest Reserve, located at the at of Elk Creek Road in Cannon Beach (east side of Hwy 101) has a nice viewpoint of the coast.
