Is the Inn at Arch Cape the same as the Arch Cape Inn?
No. Located five miles south of Cannon Beach on the Oregon Coast, The Inn at Arch Cape is the original inn of Arch Cape. It's been an integral part of Arch Cape community since the 1940s and sits on the ocean side (west side) of the Oregon Coast Highway.

Which room is your favorite?
Ah, tough question. Each room is different and has its own charm. Room 4, for example, is probably the lightest, brightest room at the Inn. Sunshine pours in from the southwest, east and north. And the bathroom has a west-facing window. Room 4 also boasts the original fireplace from the 1940s when the building was the community’s grocery store and post office.

On the other hand, Room 6 has a king-sized bed and a bunch of west-facing windows so there’s plenty of light. Guests who favor Room 6 also tell us they love the private patio next to the fire pit. The former Innkeeper’s apartment, Room 6 sits directly below Room 5.

Speaking of Room 5, it’s unique in that it features a private south- and west-facing deck where guests enjoy their coffee in the morning and the coastal sunset in the evening. Ethel LeGault, who owned building when it was a grocery and post office, built this room as her private apartment in the 1950s.

We have several longtime guests who have a fondness for Room 2, a cozy little room on the north side of the building with windows on three sides.

Room 3 is the Inn’s biggest room, with its own bedroom (and king-sized bed), a bunk-bed nook and a wonderful living space centered around the fireplace.

And Room 1 is a carbon-copy of Room 5, except with north- and west-facing windows. Like Room 5, Room 1 also has its own bedroom (with queen-sized bed) and a captain’s (twin) bed in the living area.
